Built-in 1899 as the Koehler Hotel, this adobe structure was purchased by Annie Frazier Johnson Riggs in 1904. Riggs operated the structure as a boarding house called the Riggs Hotel. It was donated to the Fort Stockton Historical Society in 1955 and has since become the Annie Riggs Memorial Museum. The structure is a contributing property to and HQ of the Fort Stockton Historical Society, which was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1973.
