On November 20th, 2025, the Annie Riggs Memorial Museum will proudly celebrate its 70th anniversary—seven decades of preserving and sharing the incredible history of Fort Stockton and Pecos County, which dates back over 75,000 years.

To honor this milestone, we’re hosting a community-wide birthday celebration and Platinum Gala Fundraiser, and we are inviting you to become a sponsor of this meaningful event.

This year’s fundraiser has a particular and urgent purpose:   to raise the $400,000 needed to replace the aging roof of the Annie Riggs Memorial Museum. Adobe buildings like ours depend on a strong, watertight roof to protect the delicate historic structure from rain and wind. Without it, the adobe walls—some over a century old—are vulnerable to permanent damage.

The roof is the key to preserving the museum itself.

We’ve already secured generous donations from charitable foundations and have been promised matching funds for any amount raised by our local community. That’s why your support as a sponsor is so crucial. Every dollar you contribute will go twice as far in helping us protect this local treasure for future generations.

To support this mission, we’re planning a full day of events for the community, culminating in our Platinum Gala Fundraiser at the museum. The celebration will include:

• Family-friendly festivities throughout the day
   

• Live music and historical reenactments featuring local gunslingers
   

• A Gala evening inside the museum with entertainment, refreshments, and a silent auction

Your sponsorship will help us cover the costs of entertainment and event production—allowing 100% of funds raised that evening to go directly toward replacing the roof of the Annie Riggs Museum.
